Are you meeting regularly with a discussion group? If you meet just once a week, you can find all of this week’s discussion questions in one place right here.

Question:

What projects have you contributed to in your life? Describe your part – how did it feel to be part of something bigger than yourself?

Reading:

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. (Romans 12:6-8 ESV)

Question:

Make a list of these gifts. For each gift, identify someone you’ve observed using this gift for God’s kingdom.

Question:

Have you fallen into the trap of professionalizing ministry before? What do you think it takes to change this common pitfall?

Challenge:
