Day 12 – Introduction to the Love Languages

self-confidence is built through knowing we are loved
self-confidence enables us:
•  to be different when we need to be
•  to build close relationships
•  our children have “emotional tanks" which need to be kept full
•  their behavior acts as the gauge showing the level in the tank

Question:
What are the signs of an empty “emotional tank” in your child(ren)?

  • learning important values of honesty, generosity, etc.?
  • learning to think about others?

  • having clear boundaries for their own protection?
  • seeing kindness modeled?

The importance of play

  • using their imagination
  • learning skills
  • playing on their own
  • playing with others
  • indoor and outdoor play
  • limiting screen time
