workrest-standardJust in time for summer’s blend of work and rest, Redeem the Commute is starting a new series of daily challenges to help busy people restore life to the commuting lifestyle.  This seven week series will look at the meaning and purpose of work, rest, and ancient practices that have helped followers of Jesus to keep the two in perspective and balance for centuries.

Redeem the Commute’s daily challenges are about being part of a community of people being challenged to live differently by following Jesus.  Our daily challenges are meant to help, by following a daily and weekly rhythm.

Wednesday - Best of 2013

2013 was a great year for Redeem the Commute, we explored the Sermon on the Mount, a series on Easter, another on Work & Rest, Becoming like Family, and finally our Christmas series, The Night that Changed Everything. Before we start our next series, we wanted to share some of our favourites from the last year. We picked them either for their creative setting, or because they had great interviews, or content we thought was worth hearing again. Without further ado, here’s one of our favourites: Reminder: We are reading the Bible in sync as one community - so check out today's reading at https://www.redeemthecommute.com/readingplan Reminder: The best way to grow spiritually this year is to join our Christianity 101 in the Cafe Course in Pickering starting January 22nd. Register for you and a friend today at https://www.redeemthecommute.com/events/!

From Series: "The Night that Changed Everything"

In preparation for Christmas, our Daily Challenges are going to explore the lifechanging significance of Jesus' birth so long ago. It's more than a sentimental story, or a time for generosity, Christmas celebrates The Night that Changed Everything. We'll explore the original Christmas story from the Bible, and its impact on five kinds of people.
